High Speed Bottling System Case Erectors & Sealers - Small Format Bottling System
Pearson Model R235 Case Erector Bottom Sealer designed to erect a knocked-down case at production rates up to 35* cases per minute. Knocked-down cases are stacked on edge in the 4' horizontal magazine.
Vacuum cups mounted on a rotating mechanical arm select one knocked-down case from the magazine and rotate it 90°, placing it directly into the set-up station. Top and bottom vacuum cups engage the blank and a mechanical set-up arm erects the case in the direction of flow.
Once erected, both leading and trailing minor flaps are closed utilizing pneumatic rotary actuators. The major flaps are plowed partially closed and as the case is transferred to the compression station hot melt adhesive is applied to the minor flaps.
A compression ram extends into the case and the flaps are closed against a fixed backup plate. The erected case exits the machine and is tipped so it lands sides up on the customer's conveyor.
This Case Erector comes standard with inventory control photoeye at discharge, an Allen-Bradley "Micrologic" Programmable Logic Controller, a Nordson 3500 Vista hot melt unit (mounted on separate stand), and quick changeover.

Pearson Model N401-01 Ayustabie Top Only Sealer is a high speed, compact and automatic machine capable of top sealing a wide range of RSC corrugated cases. Because of its rugged design, it is extremely reliable for long production runs with only minimal maintenance. The sealer is continuous motion at speeds up to 60* cases per minute.
Filled cases enter the top sealer on a continuous motion belt where the minor flaps are closed and hot melt adhesive is automatically applied. The major flaps are closed and presented to powered compression which contributes to high production rate and a square box with perfectly aligned sides. Sealer is equipped with UL Listed Control Panel and Nordson 3500 Vista Hot Melt Adhesive System.
